PerformanceObjects was founded in 2006 by Michael Jeffs, Iain Pennington and Bill Walman, a group of software professionals who had a vision to create a solid talent management solution that was easy to implement and use.

Our first product, ClearlyTalentedXL, is a streamlined tool for human resource professionals. Today ClearlyTalentedXL boasts a portfolio of clients who enjoy an efficient talent management system that allows them to manage, motivate and make the most of their employees.

PerformanceObjects designed our second product as a direct result of our experience of the last few years. We spent countless hours at customer sites listening to business owners and their operations people discuss performance management software. Over the course of time a few themes emerged:

1) ClearlyTalentedXL wins against competitors mainly because our competitors ship with too many "bells and whistles" making them expensive and time consuming to learn and therfore to use.

2) It is business managers, not HR experts, who benefit directly from performance management.
